Why Hormonal Balance Matters
For many men, fatigue, loss of muscle mass, low mood, and reduced sexual function can be linked to hormone levels. Testosterone naturally declines with age, and other hormonal imbalances can also contribute to reduced strength, stamina and energy.
Forte doctors create tailored treatment plans that may include testosterone replacement therapy, hormonal supplements, or lifestyle strategies to treat the underlying cause of your symptoms.

Transparent, no hidden fees.
Hormonal health can impact energy, strength, mood, and sexual wellbeing. Don’t let treatable symptoms hold you back.
Common symptoms include fatigue, reduced muscle mass, low libido, erectile difficulties, mood changes and weight gain.
Diagnosis requires early morning blood tests measuring testosterone levels, ideally fasting taken on two consecutive occasions. Doctors will also review symptoms, medical history, and rule out other secondary causes.
Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can be provided as injections, topical gels, or creams. Some men may also benefit from addressing lifestyle factors such as sleep, exercise, and diet.
Side effects may include acne, oily skin, mood changes, increased red blood cell count, fertility issues, and in rare cases liver damage or worsening of undiagnosed prostate disease. Regular monitoring is required.
Contraindications include men with prostate or breast cancer, untreated severe sleep apnoea, very high red blood cell counts, heart failure and liver disease. Doctors will screen for these conditions before prescribing.
Doctors must confirm low testosterone with appropriate testing, document symptoms, and follow national guidelines. Prescribing anabolic steroids or testosterone without medical indication is prohibited. Ongoing monitoring is mandatory.
No. In Australia, HGH and anabolic steroids cannot be prescribed for bodybuilding, sports enhancement, or anti-aging purposes. They are strictly regulated substances and only approved for very specific medical conditions.
Forte men’s health doctors will screen for thyroid, pituitary, testosterone, vitamin D, folate, vitamin b12, and iron levels. Other less common deficiencies can occur and will be tested on a case by case basis.
